North Dakota Archery Tags 2012

I was told the non-resident any deer archery tag numbers will be cut in half to 682, and it might be antlered only for mule deer so the draw odds will be around 40%. Until last year there always were leftover gas! Also heard a rumor they also might limit whitetail archery tags too. Anyone heard anything about this?

I have heard rumors about cutting tags for sure. After the winter kill and EHD they will likely do something. Deer numbers were considerably low when I went over thanksgiving.

We have been going for several years and the numbers definetly seem lower.

Makes sense to me, not as many animals, lower the amount of given tags and cut down on or do away with the doe tags. Seems a easy enough decision but some people and some States just can not get their heads wrapped around that kinda course of action, what i consider a no brainer idea, at all.

The NR any deer archery tags are a % of the Res gun tags, so all tag # are going down. What I don't know is how they allocate Res any deer archery tags. They could be unlimited.
