for all of you guys out there that were worried about the feilds buck being poached.. as i was.. i found him he just moved locations but a seen him. he is just as alive as ever!*BUSHMEN*
 
couldnt get a picture because i can only find him after dark under a spot light.. and he is alot smarter now that the rut is over he only let me look at him for about 1 minute from about a hundred yards. i would rather not spread the word about where he is. because when everyone found out about him last time he got pressured way to much (people chasin him in their trucks) chasing him from one side of the feild to the other. all day every day. so i dont wanna get a bunch of people out there stressin him out

Your out there spotlighting him because your worried about stressing the deer?
 
Dang Shedz, I'm really getting worried having to agree with you on two threads in two days!!! Let the friggin animal alone as he won't get any smaller this year, LOL!
 
i was not out spotlighting him. i was spotlighting my feild because a few of my cows got loose and i was trying to find them and just ran into.. thanks for your concern though

If you don't want others pushing and stressing this deer out why tell everyone he's alive and in a different spot?
 
because everyone was wondering if he had gotten poached. i could really give a ##### less its not like i own the deer let people go and find him i am just not going to say his exact location.

I used to spotlight in my younger days for whitetails on my granddads land for whitetails. We were always "looking for loose cattle" as well.

I also think it's funny how you don't want anyone pressuring him, but that "you could only get to a hundred yards" meaning, you tried getting closer, but he wouldn't let you.

It's funny listening to everyone chime in though and post - I don't even care about the fields buck let alone care to even know which state we're talking about.
 
is there any pics from his previous locations?

I think ya shoulda just said you spotted him and he was not poached now everyone with be looking for him including possible poachers. and they know he is still in a field
 
I would say that if you posted pictures of him but didn't want anyone looking for/or at him than you my friend are either a dumbass or WAY too trusting of your fellow man. I sure as hell wouldn't be posting pics of a deer I plan to hunt next year.

Muley man, aside from admitting that you "used" to not have any ethics, and broke the law, why don't you get off the guy's back. How do you KNOW what he was doing? Not everyone is unethical and lies. That is what's wrong with people today, if you don't agree with something, or are jealous, you jump all over that person. I'm not saying just you, I'm saying 99% of the people on this forum. Everyone thinks their way is the best, and only way to do it. Instead of commenting negative posts, just say "Cool" or don't post at all!
 
99% of people on this forum do exactly what you just did, Mossback50cal. Someone posts things you don't agree with, so you tell them. Thats what muleyman did and then you did the exact same thing to him and then told him what he could or couldn't say. This isn't a communist country, we do have freedom of speech here. That is the beauty of America, we can say what we want... This is what you said...

...and while trying to make him see his "folly" you did the same to him... So, as long as you include yourself in that 99%, then I have no problem with your post.

Now, as soon as someone says something, they get jumped on about it. I have seen it all too much lately, and am just pointing it out. People trying to belittle others, and I am in no way attempting to do so. I am simply pointing out the negative sides of peoples' posts that don't need to be posted.

Ohh now you were out "spotlighting for lost cattle" and you just happened to see the deer.Ill have to remember that one.A whole lot less peopple including poachers wouldnt even know that buck existed if you wernt posting pics of it on the net.

the pictures i posted were from when he was right in the town and anyone and everyone seen him.. he is no secret.. but just because i posted a picture every poacher in the western united states will know exactly where he is right?(the pictures i posted are far far away from his location now) i should have known. trust me if this buck was a buck that i had been personally watching and a few select people had seen i would have not posted pics. but in the case every one in the freakin town has already been watching this buck. everyone was worried about if it had gotten poached.. this did nothing buck start rumors and things. so i thought i would let they people that had been trying to find him. that he isnt poached. and wether you believed that i was looking for my cows that got loose, i was doing nothing illegal. there is no hunt going on right now. and i didnt have a wepon in the vehicle. soo i would have no reason to lie about the reason me being out there with a spotlight

It would have been smarter to keep it to yourself and then after you got his sheds tell everyone he is still out there by showing them the sweet horns you just got....lol
