Sorry man had to do it he is calling out 2lumpy on some thing and also started another sfw rant to him so i had to also elite who else could step up and run the expo mdf is already a huge partner on it so sfw dont take all the cash alao they only get a percentage of the money made off tag sales

SFW is to power hungry and greedy to ever quit. When is SFW going to step up to the plate is what you should be asking? 18 years and our deer herds are still struggling. It took 18 years for SFW to finally figure out that coyotes eat deer.
SFW has stepped up to the plate and reduced more hunting opportunity than PETA can ever imagine. There elk agenda is based on money so they can line their pockets with more money.
SFW hasn't provided information on even ONE Cent of the money from the expo tags that SFW receives.
I don't want greedy special interest groups that are only looking at the special interests of their own wallets to ever step up to the plate.
Utah needs to grow a set like AZ and get rid of SFW because we don't need greedy, powerful hungry groups calling the shots.

SFW isn't looking for the best interest of the average joe hunters, but you need to wipe the koolaid off your lips to recognize this. I supported SFW at one time until I got sober from the koolaid because it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Big6 the last time SFW funded coyote control they spent a heck a lot of money and very few coyotes killed. The number of coyotes killed is compared to the farts that Don Peay releases under his covers and he can ripe a few.

Nobody would give a rats arse about what SFW does or doesn't do if they were spending their OWN money, but they're not. They're spending the PUBLICS money and most don't like what they're spending it on. Not to mention they have their puppets in place on the wildlife board who make all the wildlife decisions in Utah.

I think they have the Expo to give people something else to do for a few days other than complain about organizations they'll never change! But then after the Expo those complainers have a whole new fire to light and complain about LOL.....

The door is open for any person, group, or organization to run the "Expo". Go make a presentation to the DWR and show that benefits that will go back to the public, the organization to run it, etc.etc. I think it would be a good idea to cool the complaining and finger pointing. If you want it changed, organize a group and apply to run the show. It is open to anyone who can provide a better way to make it happen.

Hopefully NOBODY! Give us back our dang tags! Better yet have the DWR run it and then put the money back into a wildife conservation fund instead of SFW's pockets. Form a wildlife conservation committe and let them vote on how to use the conservation money best.

Yeah they (DWR) would stick most of any money made into the damn fisheries like they have done for years knowing mule deer were in damn bad trouble. Couldn't disagree more.

Let me get this straight.
SFW is profit or non profit?
If it is for profit, may I simply ask why?
If you want to exploit the tags for benefit of wildlife, wouldn't a non-profit be best?
That would simplify things because the non profit, would have to show that the funds were used or at least the percentage used for the purpose it was intended.

Sfw is a non profit organization granted you have a hand full of employees paid but rest is volunteerd so any of the info is released to the public if i could remember what the website was then i would tell you.

I am only guessing here but I will say this. MOST people in the state of UT do not even know about the expo or the conservation tags. So to say MOST disagree with SFW getting them is not a valid comment.
I know that the state just recently renewed the contract with the SFW for running the expo and getting the tags. Now again this is just a guess. If MOST of the voters out there disgreed with this would the governor have still given the tags to the SFW?????
I would bet that if you did a state wide poll and said we can take 200 big game tags and generate X amount of millions of dollars in down town Salt Lake in 4 days, MOST people would think it was a good idea. This is millions that have nothing to do with wildlife. It is millions in hotels, food, shopping ect. That is a pretty good return on investment for the state and Im guessing that is why the governor signed a new contract.
