Best part of expirencing Gods Creation is spending it with family who equally like to hunt chasing critters.

That buck from the first picture is what my brother shot this year. I spent 9 days with him hunting before he shot this 2nd to the last day of the season. He passed on this buck about 3 days prior. He was hanging a big 4 point with extra an cheater that we couldnt get a shot on. So we left that area alone acouple of days checking other areas I like and came back hoping to find the 4 point he was with, then this guy stepped out alone. We reconized him right a way from afew days prior so we didnt need to judge him, just a matter if he wanted to shot or not. Decison time and as you can see the verdict was made. Ended up being a 4 X 11.

Since Im sharing. I think you all will enjoy alittle story of our family hunt this year with a few photo's. My brother brought his son out for his first deer hunt and we were able to find him a nice buck the first night of there hunt. He made a great shot with his 243 at 243 yards. We both where there beside him when he was lining up on the buck and we could tell he was nervous by not shooting right a way. We both whispered to him to take his time and if the shot dont look right, dont shoot. As you can see by the picture its dark, he shot right at last shooting light. I think I was more nervous than he was knowing the excitement he was pry feeling. Very nice first deer.

My father, shot a deer of a lifetime. My dad and I hunt alot together and spend many days in the field prior to my brother and newphew arriving. My brother arrived the day prior to hunting, saw a monster deer cross the road ahead of him. When he told us about it and where it was. He clicked his odometer and told us the distance. We said, he might be on a section we can hunt so we headed that way. We got into position prior to light and my dad gave my brother first shot. Needless to say the excitement of that caliber of buck had some effect on him. The buck was running when we first saw him and was nearing the fence line we couldnt hunt so my dad did not hestitate. Cant let one like this get a way. 30 inch outside spread, 12 X 18.

Heres mine from this hunt. I debated about shooting this buck. It was earily in the season and didnt want to shoot unless it was worth it, but had good forks and had a small kicker of his left G2 which sealed the deal on the decision.

My oldest brother also shared some time with us this year but I do not have any pictures to share of that. My mother generally hunts every year with us but was time consumed with prior arrangements.

looked like a blast congrats on some great memories some beautiful bucks in there

What state?

Montana bucks. Overal deer numbers where down this year considering prior years but with last years high moisture for the year yielded some good feed for growing some good bucks.

Forgot to mention, my fathers buck could have been my newphews first deer. That would have been something. Typical at that age... He likes to sleep in and elected not to do the morning hunt.

Those are all nice bucks. Congrats to you all. Yeah, God definitely knows how to make some nice looking country.

Outstanding bucks, awesome scenery, and priceless memories. That is what it's all about!

Great photos. Some of my favorite hunts have been with family. We still try to get together every fall. This last year I was able to hunt with my niece on her first hunt. My dad and brother and I were with her when she took her antelope buck with one shot at 250 yards. Good times! Thanks for sharing your hunt.

Great hunt and some nice photos to go with it. I used hunt around fairview area along the river, That was some great place to hunt with both Muleys and Whitetails Hunted Muleys in the foothills above the river and Whitetails in the riverbed and beet fields.
