Well after probably 3 years or so of coming on here and reading everyone else's posts, I've decided to join so I can voice my opinion and stir up the pot when needed ;-), not really, there's already enough of that on here. Anywho, just wanted to share some pics of my buck I got this last fall in N. Utah. He's my biggest so far, lucked out on him really. I missed a good sized 3-point the day before and was hunting the same area I missed the 3-point when this guy showed up.

Welcome to the site !!

Welcome, I love the picture of the buck in the back of the truck. Nothing quite like the feeling of pride you get when you drive down the mountain with a buck in the back. The as it lay photo is also a good one. Congrats,.

Great looking buck. Man seeing that beautiful fall foliage makes winter that much harder.

Thanks everyone. Being that I'm an Idaho res. now I am looking forward to more hunting opportunities in the spud state. I will continue to hunt the home state of Utah cuz I have points building up for limited entry deer. I'm in grad school right now so that will have to wait a few more years.

That buck was harvested on the general hunt on public land in Box Elder county. I do have the GPS coordinates but I'll keep those to myself :p. It was the first hunt my wife has been on and it couldn't have gone any better. The weather was great for my wife's first hunt, the fall colors were spectacular, my parents were up there as camp hosts, my bro helped me drag him out, and it all came together with a good buck and great memories. I look forward to sharing more of my hunts and making good friends and acquaintances here on MM!!

Really nice buck and I love that country up there. You ought to fit right in here. Don't worry about the trolls, they get used to you soon enough. Most folks on here are down right good fella's and gals, with a lot of good info and ideas.

I used to get dogged a bit, but now I only pizz off about half of what I used to! ;-)
