My dad shot this buck back the late 1960's in Colorado. My brother just recently found the rack in one of his sheds. Pretty damn impressive buck. He was in velvet when he was shot.

I wish I had the pic of my dads 1st buck and All his measurements. He shot it on Monroe in Utah. It was 30 1/3 inches wide. Heavy bases like soda bottles and as tall as he was wide. He always talked about that buck. Ibwish my dad were still around to tell me more stories of the GIANT bucksbthey killed on Monroe back in the day in the 60's.

The buck is currently just over 26" wide. When my dad shot him, he was over 30" but because he was in velvet he shrunk a lot. The mass right below his fork is just really impressive. It was an early season rifle hunt in about 1967 or so when my dad shot this buck.

Sorry, thats supposed to say 1/4. thats what happens when yout type on your phone. But I bet 1/3 of an inches is 1/3 of an inch. Simple if you ask me. 1 inch divided by 3 equal parts would be 1/3. Just saying, but yah, that was a typo, sorry.
