Haha it's nice to see other states waking up and that they don't want Don Peay and his cronies corrupting hunting in their state like SFW has in Utah. Now we just need to get rid of SFW and Don Peay out of Utah and that is already in the works.

SFW doesn't follow their mission statement when they were first founded. Their new mission statement is only about money with little to none transparency. A GRAMA had to be filed so that they would open their books.

There is still one more similar bill that could be passed, lets hope it doesnt. There is also still the Gov. tags bill that I hope wont pass but the F&G commision seems to be neutral on this one. I hope thats not a bad sign. We dont need this crap in Idaho. Thats why we have Super Tag drawings nobody has a guaranteed chance to win one, and the F&G does just fine running it themselves. Why cant other states do it this way?

LAST EDITED ON Feb-23-12 AT 07:17AM (MST)[p]It's very disturbing to see that 17-17-1 vote and if you read the short article in that link it could easily have passed if everyone had been there for the vote. That, to me, is not a very good sign for you guys in Idaho. A lot of he** raising needs to be accomplished in the next few weeks to deep six those other Bills. All it takes is one Bill to pass and it will be the beginning of the end of fairness in how hunting tags are dispersed.

You can make a difference. Here in AZ, the sportsmen made such a rucus sending e-mails and calling their representatives we were able to have HB2072 withdrawn. You guys need to get on the phone and on the keyboards to make sure you are the loudest squeaking wheel.

It all depends on hunters! If you don't like it,DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!It's really quite simple.I remember when SFW tried to have outfitter set-aside licenses in Wyoming. The sleeping giant(sportsmen)awoke!!That legislation was shot down big time!
