Have a good one. BB

He looks like a younger buck, just think how big he would be if he lives another couple of years. Great buck

The 3 pt behind him looks like he has good genetics too.
Awesome buck.

Those pics. are awesome. You do good work. That is as cool as any buck I have ever seen.

That is a cool looking buck. Doesn't look to have much meat on his bones, Cemetary Buck seems fitting.

That's what happens when you feed them cookies, potato chips and crap.

Here's a better photo of the three point. Could it be his son? Notice the brows on both bucks.

And notice the right antler on this shot. Pretty knurly if you ask me.

And here's one more to grow on! It shows the double branch pretty well.

>Great pictures. How old do you
>think this buck is?

I don't think he is particularly old. Notice close his teeth and they don't seem to show the wear that most old buck seem to have.

Some guy over in the shed forum must think he's the only one watching him and saying he calls him twosweet or something haha

Went up this afternoon and the buck has shed. I wonder who nabbed 'em???

You probably won't see any pic's of the shed's unless the person who buy's them from the care taker post them. I stopped and talked to the care taker yesterday and he said that he had picked up both sides and seemed pretty upset about the majority of idiots that have been in there chasing the deer around. He said that he was going to post some sign's not allowing anybody to pick up any shed's. That it is still private property and you have these stupid a### in there more concerned about trying to pick up horns that they don't even care that there blocking a herst trying to get through for a funeral. It's sad that picking up a couple of horns has become so out of control that these idiot's try chaseing these animals in hope of there horns falling to the ground. I wish they would close the season like they use to and keep the idiot's of the wintering grounds. Sorry ranting.

I have decided ever one is crazy! i drove in the cemetery at 2pm on the 25th to show the big deer to my brother in law and his three young boys no one was around. we pulled up right next to him and saw he only had the one big side on his head. i watched him for 5 min. and he started to move away he took 2 bounces and it fell off. no one was around or chasing him. i was up there 2 other times and no one ever chased him, there may have been 10 cars there watching him but thats because hes a sweet buck. i saw at least 20 old grandmas watch him and get out and take a photo, and kids throw apples at the deer to eat so dont blame crap on horn hunters. the care taker is full of crap he dont have them, and he is mad im sure! everyone wanted them so if they dont have them there mad!
I walked around for 1 and a half hours and found the other one. while i was doing so 4 diffrent people told me they already had the horns and i might as well go home. so no matter what people are saying it is probably a lie. the horns are at hoyte right now getting scored. and some of the workers are sending out photos saying they found them, they lie....

22 there was a pro scorer today at hoyte so i took it to him to score. scoring him my self it came to 206 but its hard to score with the extra beam.

I watched this buck monday, wednesday and friday before class, for a few weeks, and you're full of sh*t to say that noone was chasing him. On 3 different occasions I witnessed some moron chasing this buck, as well as one guy who would lure the buck close to his truck with apples, then when he would get close, he would smack the door of his truck and make the buck jump, and take off. I was happy to watch this buck and enjoyed every second, but was kind of dissappointed in some of the so called "sportsman" I've ran into lately. Just my opinion.

Stoddy12 - Let's see pics!

You may have seen that and that sucks, im just saying i watched him 3 times and seen none of that. Im sure there were some dus* bags watching him, i run into them every year at this time chasing the deer around. So called "sportsman" is right!!!!

Let's see some pics already!

"So was it hard to get permission to pick them up on private property?"

Exactly what I was thinking! Taking "anything" from property like that is stealing and if the person that has them gets prosecuted for having them it would serve them right!

Well - it is good to see that the buck survived - looks like some idiot slob didn't get the chance to poach him within city limits. Good for the buck. Congrats to the shed gatherer. Great pick up.

HOOK 'EM!

Well if no one else tells you, I will. Congratulations on a very cool set. I would love to see this set in person some day.

And now for the question on everyones mind. How big is the base on that thing?

Yelum

I see the old boy has dropped his antlers. I am not sure when this happened, but here are the last photos I took of him. These had to be taken within a couple days of when he lost them.

Was it a mad dash to pick up the sheds with as many people that has been watching him or did it just by chance happen to be only one person their at the time.

Just Curious

Read post #21.

Very nice pics BB. I muyst say I've never seen a buck kiss his butt more than this deer, and I only saw him a few times.

Yelum

9in right at the base of the big horn. 10in up a little. the base attached to the head like normal. 7in base

Sweet. What did each horn score? PM me your email and I'll send you some early velvet pics of him if you want.

Well Yelum, I guess that's why it always looked so clean. Ha Ha

On a side note, I have a buddy who is pretty easy to BS and since that's about the only thing I excel at, I strung him along a bit on this buck. I told him I was hiking up Millcreek (in his favorite area) the other day and I ran into a pretty nice buck that was as even on each side as any buck I had ever seen. I went on to say that the buck actually had bases on both sides that double beamed and they looked like mirror images of each other. I told him I knew it would score over 200 and of course he called me on it (just what I wanted him to do). He went on to say, I know you always have a camera with you and if you had seen one like that, you would have taken his photo. (again exactly what I want him to do) I told him I did take a photo, but it was a quick, close one, as my dogs barked and scared it. I said all I really got was just a close head shot in the oaks, but that one could see his antlers pretty good.

Of course he called BS again and told me he wouldn't believe it, unless I sent him the photo. So I sent him this photo, which I cloned the right antler over the left antler, and the three points neck patch on to the buck, changed it to black and white and sent it to him via email. He called me immediately and said I had manufactured that buck and I was full of it, of which I am.

Here's the photo I sent him, after I cloned this right antler, to his left side.

I wouldn't expect any utah shed hunter to push my chair up to the shed and then hand it to me. So ya, now my wife has to get the grass stains out of my jeans for the 1st time in our marraige. :)

Yelum

Larry, I really did not try to get that butt shot. It was quite by accident. I just tried to get him as he walked away with a doe, but perhaps he was just telling me what I really was.

Perhaps next fall we can get out and take some photos of those rams you were talking about.

Best wishes. Bill

Lol Yelum...I heard you where at the expo on saturday. I never crossed you path. Maybe next year!

Man what an awesome buck, congrats on the lucky sucker who picked them up!
The big 3 point that was hanging out with the double beam shedded last Friday, anybody pick his sheds up?

I just can't get over how small of body that buck has. I've yearling spikes that were as big. I can see why the Utard herd is disappearing. They must be all dying of malnutrition.
