After 14 years of applying I finally drew. I scouted over 100 days in heat and thunder storms. Was kicked out of Colorado City for asking the lady at the gas station what day it was. Killed him with my 308 Win on the last day of season. He was 657 yards away in thick PJ's, one of the toughest shots I ever made. Credit goes to my best friend Gilamonster8 for spotting him at 4 1/2 miles away.

looks the twin to a buck overton killed years ago. Remarkable! :)

That Gun sure seems to hit where you Point it!

And is sighted in at Exactly 657 Yards!

I'd of never known 308's werte that good of Gun?

Can't wait for the 2012 Hunt Pics!

Nice Buck 1911.
Here's a trail cam pic of my Buck right before the shot.
I am way too modest to put the field photos of myself up.
It is really all about the Deer anyway right ?
I will give credit to my fat guide Overton though. He did a great job on our hunt.

where can i get me one of those 657 yard 308s? that beats my 500yd muzzle loader,,,,

I have had it with this BS, that buck was killed by Ransom, AKA overton, on the AZ strip, he is the bald guy holding the globe you see on so many posts these days.

hmmm..... that looks like the exact same buck my uncle shot 8 or so years ago..... . wonder why his face in this is all blacked out but the other pic isnt...

i was just looking at the old threads and back in 2007 you posted this picture and said here is my strip buck from 20 years ago!

I think you have me mistaken for overton.

Well that's debatable. Apparently noone here is old enough to have witnessed any of these "hunts". No wonder our deer herd sucks, you killed all of 'em before Noah could load 'em on the boat.
