I worked up 171 4/8" on my guesswork, but since everyone else was guessing way higher than that I fluffed it an inch and put down 172 5/8". If I would have stuck with my original guess I would have won!

Overall folks guess almost a full 10" high on this buck on the final tally, with only 3 or 4 guys guessing low and just barely for those guys.

My thoughts were that you could see it was light on the mass and I just couldn't get there on the tine length needed to get him up in the 180's like several had.

Beautiful buck though.
