"reality show hunting couple struck with federal charges"

LAST EDITED ON Apr-04-12 AT 05:28PM (MST)[p] $500,000 fine now that is some serious coin. I doubt they have to pay that much but maybe I can get a deal on their lodge. I'm exactly between there two lodges 60 miles either way. Fur & Feather are their two lodges.

I have a hard time thinking they would be that stupid to hunt without tags and a license and lose everything, unless they were shooting over the limit.

That's almost as dumb as the moonshiners reality show.
Geeez boys, lets show the world our faces and show how to elude police and make millions making moonshine!

I can't stand 95% of the whitetail hunting shows, therefore I am happy about this.

Its lonely at the top.... just the way I like it.

It could be as simple as hunting with an unlicensed guide or outfitter. Tag in hand or not, hunting within season dates or not doesn't mean a thing. My guess is if they are facing federal charges, it has something to do with the Lacey Act. It will pinch them hard. I hope he has good employment.

It's always an adventure!!!

LAST EDITED ON Apr-06-12 AT 08:30AM (MST)[p]The link within the above link states that they shot mule deer and whitetails on various dates with no licenses or tags and then transported the game back from Nebraska to N. Carolina, a violation of the Lacey Act and why they are under Federal indictment and not just State of Nebraska charges!

Oh, what some people will do for fame and fortune!
They knew better and should have done better.

Zeke

They had some really quality mule deer property under lease. I'm not sure if they killed deer in the class many of you guys are used to but I heard they were showing some 185 to 190 class muleys in Atkinson. Probably should have got a license before doing that an then transporting back to North Carolina.

...is she hot???
