This weeks featured buck is another speacial buck from WY. He provided several cool pics over the winter, but I'll share my favorite two. The 1st pic was taken the 2nd time I saw him, and shows the comparison between a young buck and a mature one.
The 2nd pic, was an educational moment. I learned that although a deer can walk and poop at the same time, A deer can not and will not move until its done peeing. This buck was surrounded by does when he started to pee. We were about 250 yards from him. As we drove closer, the does started moving off, and when we got about 40 yards he was by himself.
So you bow hunters on the stalk, wait till he starts to pee and then move in quick. lol
On a side note, MM's Bearcat glassed up this bucks very fresh right shed only a few yards from the feeding buck. Incredibly, this buck packed the other side for over a week. I'll take this opp to tell Bearcat thank you for a generous gift.
