Got a few pics of this guy and thought I'd share...haven't been out west long but...I haven't seen any forked horns quite like this guy...got some neat cheaters down on the bases too.

I agree...I've got a couple of others higher on the hit list but if they don't cooperate then he may get gigged.
 
he looks young. he may fork to be a 2x3 and i dont think he needs outta the gene pool. most guys would shoot him. looks like your finding some good bucks for your first time out here keep it up!
 
Get as far away from the nearest atv trail as possible. 70% of the hunters will not leave their quad and another 25% won't hike further than the top of the first ridge. Treat it like a high country pack trip and you will score. Those deer are the smartest I've ever seen using what little cover they have. They will lay down and let you walk right on by. Then sneak off like a Japanese ninja. I've had them lay down in the sage when they heard the rpm change in my truck. For those who want big stupid ones wait for the Henry tag. Here is one I seen a few days ago.

that looks like a young deer .i watched one like that for a few years he turned in to a 150 or so 3x3 dont think he would of goten better but was still an ok deer .
