So if you stumbled upon a crazy big/unique deer that is in a legaly unharvestable area what do you do?

1. Tell everybody about him so he has way too many eyes on him for someone to do something stupid?
2. Not tell anyone about him, in hopes that "stupid person" never gets the idea?
3. ??????
What would you do and why?

tell and post up pictures so they are all over the net, so if a guy does poach it he can't sell it anywhere the net is.

I was going to say #2, but I'll go along with gator, as well as saying a few prayers that the big boy dies of old age, rahter than to a poacher!

That is the definition of a unique buck, and also looks like he's ancient. I agree that posting up pics of bucks like this that are unharvestable are a great way to either catch poachers or keep great animals like this from being poached. Take Goliath for example (I think that's the name of the Colorado buck from 2 years ago), there's no way anyone would have been able to poach that buck and get away with it...he was instantly recognizable because someone decide to post pics of him online. Same thing with this buck, there's not another deer out there that looks anything like him.

I need to give credit to my sister for the pic of this buck. She stumbled upon it sunday. I know she aint the only person to have seen this buck do to where it lives. The thought just crossed my mind on what i would do if i came across a buck like this in an area in which it lives. It is sure a unique buck i would agree.

Unique set of antlers for sure.
