Hello all,
My name is Chad, I am a hobby photographer from North Dakota who is going on vacation the week of September 1-9 to hopefully take photos of some monster mule deer at Henry Mountains and Book Cliffs. Any help on specific places to go, elevations, ect would be appreciated. In return I would be happy to send you photos with GPS coordinates of the deer I see, aka free scouting! I would be thrilled to help someone get a monster. If you want to check my credibility go to findthefur.com.

Thanks

Hey Chad, I don't have a tag this year but have hunted the Henry's multi times over the last decade. Every time I am down there and want to see lots of bucks I just drive the road that goes around Mount Ellen. There are deer all over the mountain but there are always a few good ones right off the road around bull pass.

The Henry's is 10 times better than the Book cliffs if you are looking for deer but I love the scenery of the Book cliffs.

Hope this helps and I would love to see pics. You can email them to me or just post them up.

If you want photos of BIG deer go to the Henrys. The Bookcliffs have lots of deer but very very few the caliber of the Henrys. The last post is good advice for a place to go get photos of great deer on the Henrys. If ya get some good photos post them here. Lots of guys would enjoy lookin at them. Good luck.

While you are in the Bookcliffs - take as many pics of spike elk as you can. Post them here. I will send you free Spanish lessons via e-mail.

HOOK 'EM!
