How wide is this general season velvet buck?

Here are a few bucks we are watching for the General Archery Season here in Utah. How wide is this buck?

24" - 26". Pretty buck. Kind of angled and going away, going to make him look a LOT wider than he is.

26" IMO. I had a 5 yr old buck like that at 26". Depends on how big his ears are. This 'a mature bucks ears will be 24".. thing is incorrect. The buck i shot was a high mountain buck, and his ears were 22" tip to tip. He just had small ears compared to the desert mule deer. We thought the buck would be 28-29 based on what we thought his ear length was. We were wrong. And I could be wrong on this pic. Hard to say.

I have pics of the same buck as that is the general area we are guiding in this year. He has grown a bit since your picture, and I would guess him at about 27-28" wide. Our first client of the year will be here in no time and that is the one we plan to go after. Great deer no doubt and there is another he has been hanging with about the same size, but you probably already know that.
