Been out and had to let a few forkies walk but finally found this guy last weekend. Wanted to share my new target and see what all yall guess on score. Not to concerned with score cause he is definitely nice enough for me but was curious what you guys thought.

Well I originally named this buck "Blade", but after the final weekend i changed it to Houdini! Finally got my chance and found him feeding in his basin. He was feeding under some cliffs out in a big hillside. Let him out of my site for 2 minutes and he disappeared. Watched the basin all day and the next morning and he never showed back up. Guessing he caught wind of me or heard me. At least if I had kept my eye on him I would have known where he went, and not wasted a whole day and a half waiting for him to show. Learned my lesson the hard way this time. Better luck next year!

I think that is a very nice buck! He looks very similar to a buck I have been chasing this archery season. Is that a Wasatch County buck?

Looks very familiar! You must be the one I saw in the basin opening morning of the archery season. My son and I were just West of you coming in from the backside of that basin, it would be about 100 yards from where the above picture was taken. That buck has been tough to pattern. I keep getting close to the smaller bucks but he has not been cooperative. I have some very nice video of the buck in the velvet, nice to see that you got him hard horned. I will pm to discuss details.
