I got my 2012 mule deer this afternoon. Put a stalk on him opening day and yesterday. Was within 35 yards both times but was unable to get a shot. With the strong winds today was able to get into 22 yards in some very thick cover. He ended up dying in a nasty spot. A huge thank you to my buddy Ken and his son Griffin for coming and helping me retrieve him. It would have been a horrible job alone. We put a tape to him tonight and came up with a total gross score of 198 4/8 including the two stickers on his G3's. His typical frame grossed 194 5/8. He was nice and heavy with 44 1/8 inches of mass.

Always enjoy your posts Saskman. I don't respond much on here but over the years have enjoyed seeing each and everyone of your deer harvests. Pictures are always tasteful and great quality. Well done and congratulations on yet another monster muley!!!

You getting a toad muley every year is about as dependable as the Tax man!! Congrats, another Fine example of a outstanding Muley buck for your wall!!

Another fine buck, You have been steady as rain killing those nice ones. Love his rack.

Great Buck!!! Congrats on putting the hammer down on another awesome velvet muley!! Thanks for posting up the pics and keep 'em coming! Kip

I knew before I opened the post that it would have a pic of an amazing buck. Your wall is almost too good to be true. Consider yourself blessed to live in an area with huntable giants and obtainable tags.

Congrats on another awesome buck.

2 sure things in life:

1. Sun rising in the East
2. Saskman putting the hammer down on a huge muley

Congrats on another beautiful buck and thanks for always sharing with us!!

I was out in the bush working today and I thought to myself, I betcha Saskman will be posting up another monster soon. I get home and log onto MM and low and behold, there is a new Saskman thread. Congrats Cam on yet another Canadian Giant!

Congrats once again, Cam. This is an annual highlight and an expectation for me. Another stud for you. Well deserved and I still want to come to Sask just to look around. THANKS fro sharing.

Congrat's on an awesome buck. Thanks for sharing the Pics and story. Looks like in addition to the huge rack that body wasn't to shabby either. Did you happen to weight him?
