I'm watching Cody's hunt for his big double dropper buck right now. Great show IMO. Comes on again at 10:pm Pacific time Outdoor channel.

Ya thats a stud of a buck. I guess he use to be Jim Shockeys old camera man. I am guess it must be on a private ranch. The buck being out in the open like that and know one else hunting the buck.

Cody sure know how to get it done. He puts on a great show too

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

My understanding is that the Locals up there in Canada have a lot easier time getting permission to hunt on the Private properties there. Unlike the BS practices here in the States, not all the best private lands are getting tied up by big dollars.

Yes, as i recall, Cody was Jim's #1 cameraman and a great muley buckhunter in his own right. There was some "to do" about Jim hating to lose Cody, let him go on his own, but i see that Jim Schockey is listed as a Producer of Cody's show, "Born to Hunt", so they are still affiliated.

I've seen a couple of these, "born to Hunt" shows by Cody, excellent stuff! Guess i have to wait until next week to see the rest of the hunt for this monster...

I don't have a lot of shows set to DVR every new episode- but Cody's show is definitely one of them... The show last night was unreal. I can't believe all those huge bucks he's taken... Can't wait to see how it unfolds next week..!!

He's been in on a couple monsters falling this year. His facebook updates had back to back monsters in 2 days of bowhunting. Looking forward to the next season of Live 2 Hunt.

Cody is one heck of a hunter and cameraman. He's also lucky to have a gal, who like him, also loves to hunt.

The guy is a dragon slayer!! I watched the show last night. He knows what it takes to get it done!! Great show!

If you get a chance, get his video, "We are Kings" good entertainment, you get to see some of the behaviors of the Canadian deer. While he and his crew do kill some monsters, they are hunting deer that flat out don't get pressured.

Watch the video.

In Sask non-residents are only allowed to deer hunt the bush areas(far north) of Sask and must have a guide. Most of this area is Crown land, heavly forested and Baiting is allowed, basicly huntng gas lines. The lower areas (Praries)is resident only and I think rifle tags are limited, and the hunting culture there is most locals do not use a guide they have hunting relationships or relatives with land. There is not the presure. Most if not all the guides are in the north I hunted Sask when you did not need a guide and the(north) locals were very friendly and helpful access was very easy to farms along the edge of the bush.Thats all changed with change in rules.

Really enjoy watching Cody. I'm sure Jim hated to lose him, but kudo's to Cody for the show he puts on and the video he brings to us.
