The deer in the first (broadside) photo.......too early to shoot arrows, so I hit him with a pine cone.

There was a MUCH larger deer that my son (age 9) kept wanting to shoot. Every time I told him, "we can't", he would say, "Yeah, I think I can hit him"......I just couldn't get a decent photo of the BIG one......I do have a tag and will hope to post HIS photo up close in October.

GB, Thanks for the nice Pic's!! Couple pretty good Muley bucks there, gonna be dandies if they can get in another year. Only wish you had gotten some good pic's of that Big Boy!! :)

It was a while....computer problems....at least half of which were operator error. (The big one is a very symmetrical typical. Pretty confident he'd make the book, if he can be found.....there was a BIG fire and he moved; haven't found his new digs...yet.
