Wow it is a wonder anyone would post anything on this website anymore with all the armchair experts posting their 2 cents. They did the right thing waiting several hours before tracking and they recovered an awesome buck. If this deer was 150" nobody would care. It is all the jealous armchair experts on here that have to rip on a guy they dont even know. Real classy! I don't know the hunter or how they killed the deer (it doesnt show a kill shot on the video) but it seems like people on this site think they know everything. It seems to me many are jealous of this Monster buck and when shot with a bow and arrow it is impressive regardless of how it was killed. All the guys making critical remarks need to step back and think before they pop off on here. Does it make you feel better about yourself (and your lack of success killing a monster buck like this) to rip on a guy you probably dont even know.

Saying he is unethical shooting this deer from a blind or stand using bait with a bow and then saying that it is more ethical and takes more skill shooting a deer with a rifle at 500 yards. Come on guys. Hunting is hunting. I have never sat over bait for mule deer but I have sat MANY hours in hot blinds and treestands and most of the time I never see anything. Give these guys a break and props for shooting one of the largest typicals ever. It sounds like they hunted this deer for 3 years. It must not have been like shooting fish in a barrel or he would have been dead 3 years ago. Some of you guys crack me up!

I like the fact that all types of opinions are posted and people speak how they feel on all subjects. Your opinion is no different than someone who doesnt agree with this type of hunting. If your hunting a certain way and put it on the internet for all to see you probably have thick enough skin to take all negative/positive comments about it. I have no problem with someone doing this and dont have a problem with people who do care. Thats what makes this a great site we can voice our own opinions and read everybody elses. Dont let other peoples opinions bother you and enjoy this great hunting site.
