After almost four weeks of everything going wrong, just in the nick of time it finally went right. I scouted this buck pre-season and had him patterned perfectly. I kept track of him and got a few photos of him I thought it was going to be an easy kill. But then as if he was houdini, he disappeared two weeks before the hunt. He stayed gone for five weeks wich included the first three weeks of my archery hunt. With no other good bucks on my radar I lost enthusiasm. But wherever he went he decided to come back, I spotted him six days before the archery hunt ended, it took me a few days to repattern him but it all came together perfectly the last day of the hunt.
