I have seen some decent bucks up here but have not been down since early summer, did that fire at the north end affect things much as far as moving some of the herds on the north end south?

During the archery elk hunt there were several herds of elk laying right in the black burnt out timber. If anything the animals will go looking for the closest feed, wherever that is. IMO they won't have to go too far.
