Big thanks to Nontypical, and the info he was willing to offer. We spent 3 long days looking at most of the unit, and after at least 20 3 year old bucks we decided to take this buck (even in the big canyons we couldn't find a better buck). We had the whole party there to watch the shot and enjoy the experience. What a game changer it is when you're restricted to a road, and need to find a buck within 500 yards of where you can get the truck.
A huge thanks to my Uncle Rudy for inviting us along on another amazing hunt. If by chance you look at this site, I want you to know what an inspiration you are to Kelly and I.
I can't relate to all the challenges, but I know 3 days in the truck takes it's toll. Great shot, and Congrats on an awesome buck!!

Stud Buck, by the way. Congrats on a great hunt and it looks like you chose wisely.

The bottom line.......NEVER QUIT......NEVER!

Very nice deer and hats off to all the folks that helped on this hunt.

Congrats. Sounds as if you all made a challenge in to a great success with a good mature buck. Way to get it done and some great memories there!!!

Thanks for the pic help and all the comments. We didn't find the 170 class we were looking for, but had a great time.

On the Wyoming forum--you posted this at 101? Which unit was it???? Nice buck. Doesnt matter that he didnt score 170 if you ask me. Scores are retarded anyways.

Nice looking buck, Congrats on getting it done.

My bad on the earlier posting asking for 101 help. It was actually 102 we hunted.
Thanks again for all the comments.
