Who's Ready for Utah Rifle Opener??

Me I'm mostly ready. Did some hunting and scouting of new areas during the muzzleloader. Getting pumped up for the rifle opener this weekend. I will be hunting in southern Utah.

What about you- where you hunting? Any prospects? What do you do to prepare?

I bought a tag in Colorado, I want to give it a try, 3rd season. I practice longer range shooting all summer long to get ready for the hunt.

My dad has a rifle deer tag for the northern utah area, We will be gladly sitting the opener out and let all the lead throwing crazy idiots have at it for the weekend hunt. Have fun all, and prepare yourselves for the disapppointment of not seeing deer where you saw them during your scouting trips.

Going out on a general unit in Northern Utah. First mule deer rifle tag. Just looking forward to exploring the area. Expecting to see more orange than brown. The only scouting I've done is via Google Earth.
