My daughter's Utah buck. This bruiser came running towards us at 9:00 a.m. on opening day after being jumped by other hunters. She was having trouble putting a shell in her chamber, so I put one in mine and lowered the scope to 3x and handed it to her while I prepared her rifle. She shot at him with my rifle and missed, so I gave her back her rifle, and she was able to drop him in his tracks with it.
FYI - The date on the camera is wrong by 12 hours. The photo shows a date of 10/19/12 at 9:55 p.m. which would be night time. The date should read 10/20/12 at 9:55 a.m.

That's a good one. Sounds like she and her rifle get along well. Always nice to see someone who'll carry on the tradition! Congrats.

Congrats to you and your daughter. A fine buck in any general unit in UT! Where were you hunting anyway, generally speaking? Fun to see where some of these more decent bucks are coming from.

So?

You two were the shots I heard the night before season?:D

Nice Job!

No. That was me sighting in my rifle at my camp right below where I was going to hunt the next morning.

Darn cute girl and a big buck: Excellent combination!

Congratulations on a fine trophy young lady.....and to dad for keeping his cool. Well done to you both!
