Here are some good deer that I was able to see get some leaded-love. All public land DIY. Yes we had orange....just not for the 30 seconds for the photos. First my friend Butch. He got this 165 muley in Wyoming in the opener. We had our stalk buggered by a mt lion but we were able to re-located the bucks and Butch made a great shot. Way to go, man......
Next up was my turn. I had a good elk tag for here in Montana(yes you Manti, Utah bulls....you are safe one more year!!). I killed mine opening day....go over to the elk forum for that.
2 days later I found this mule deer that I just couldn't let walk. I told my brother to come get a tag for MT, that I just had a good feeling. He is building a house so he is stuck on the Wasatch Front for now. Next year Stev-O!!!!
Anyway, I made a good shot on this 171 buck @ 343 yards. Maybe Founder can let bucks like this walk, but not me.....not this year.....Here he is. His body was HUGE!!!!
Next up was my friend, Steve....he had his sights set on a whitey. I know they have a whitey forum, but this is Montana....not Iowa.....Nice job Steve. Congrats on a great 8!!!! I mean 4x4!!!!
This is a random pic from back in the day. It's at Lake Powell. Its a cell phone pic from 2002. There are 3 of us jumping off a 70+ foot cliff into the water. I'm on the left in yellow shorts. I don't know why I'm posting this pic...but I am. Don't jump off of really big cliffs at Lake Powell...
