Looking for the hunter that shot the Gateway buck. I want to see pics. He is from Delta, works at the power plant. Does anyone know him?

I am pretty sure if you gave out more info about what the buck was then you would probably get more help. A lot of people from Delta have killed big bucks this year.

This guy from Delta won a permit to hunt the Alton CWMU. The first week down there, gateway eluded him. He was asked to come back down and I heard from a really reliable source that he tagged this giant buck. He works at IPP, his buddy that helped him is an electrician there.

I was in the drawing for that same tag. 1 in 17 chance at a alton deer tag. I was hoping it would be me but congrats to the guy that got it. It sounds like he got a good one. Are there any pictures out there of the buck ?

Word sure gets around. I hunted at the same time as he. Their crew of three hunted this deer for a solid week and never saw it. My crew ran into it just long enoung to see how massive he was. Our guide texted us later on and told us that the Delta boys had successfully taken that Buckskin. I think one of them lives in Oak City. What drawing was this tag apart of? Delta Boys, lets see your pics.

SFW had a raffle this last year at the banguet's. I ticket for each dinner 17 dinners 1 hunter 1 in 17 chance. For a Alton cwmu tag.. If you won the dinners raffle you won a browning 22-250 a bolt rifle and at the end of all the banquet's all 17 people where put in a hat and drawn for the hunt.
I told them I would give back the rifle for another chance at the hunt. They said no. :)

Here you go boys

Hey Lucky_draw, It was a pleasure being with you guys at the CCO lodge. You guys sure hunted hard for old gateway, we were thrilled that you were able to locate him. Did you get him from that same ridge? How wide? Was your father in law their as well? Congratulations what a stud.

Yeah it sure was fun being there and living the good life. Yeah he was right there in that same canyon, just got lucky. His outside spread is 28 and no Mark and Brandon couldn't be there. Thanks it sure was fun. Hey so sorry to hear about Tyler that is freaking crazy. Mark Brandon and I wish him the best.

Hi Chris, Tyler and I were talking about you tonight at the U of U hospital. We were both impressed, how hard you guys hunted. It would make his day if you would tell your story from the start. If you choose to send me a personal message or do it on this thread it would be pretty cool. Ty is starting to feel alot better, but has a ways to go. Thanks.
