I spent a week down on the Henry's taking mule deer photos. Here are a few of the many I took. I think I was just a bit early this year, as it seemed pretty slow compared to past years.

Well I have a lot more photos to go through, but those are a small sampling of the one I took. I hope some of you enjoy them.

Have a good one. BB

Amazing photos. I love that old buck with all the mass in the first picture.

"This one is a stud. Nice pics BB. What lense were you using?"

I was using the Olympus E-5 camera and their Zukio 300-2.8 lens.

"Is it bad when a guy can look at a tree and guess where the picture was taken? Atleast i think i can on the last picture."

You know that country pretty darn well if you know that tree. Where do you think that photo was taken?

Here's the largest buck I saw on my stay in about a weeks time. I saw other nice bucks, but this one was the largest.

I came upon him so close his rack would not fit in the frame of my camera. Here he is walking away. Its easy to get walking away shots, but hard as heck to get them to poise for you.

Here he is again, but half his rack is hidden behind the limbs of the tree. If you look close you can see the top part of the hidden antler in the pine limbs.

Here's a few other bucks you muley fans might enjoy.

Great photos! Thank you for sharing with us. Love the one with the buck bedded beneath the tree. All your photos are terrific!

For those of you who are not my Facebook friends, I will post this photo, a repeat of the photo I posted on my Facebook page. (Each day I post a photo of a different critter on my Facebook page, and if any of you want to be friends so you can see them, just send me a friends request stating you saw this post of MM and I will accept your friendship.) This is a link to my Facebook timeline.---http://www.facebook.com/bill.allard.5

Anyway take a close look at this deers left rear leg. It looks pretty sore, but he still was interested in the girls.

I can't remember if I posted this one above or not. But its a photo the largest buck I saw as he is heading away a at fairly close distance.

And here's another for good measure.

Great pictures as always, looks like there were a few management bucks in the group. Thanks for posting.

Here's one with three ears and some funny brows. It should really be a management buck, but doesn't meet the correct criteria.

I got up early this morning, walked my dogs with the wife, came home and made the stuffing for the turkey and once I got it in the oven, I have spent some time going through some of the photos I shot last week.

Here's a few more for you muley lovers. None are great so far, but at least they are mulies.
