My first monster muley!

LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-12 AT 10:05PM (MST)[p]After 13 years of putting in for a controlled hunt in unit 40 in southern Idaho, I finally drew it. This was a special hunt for me, due to the fact I got to hunt with my father for the first time in seven years. He drew that tag a couple years before me and tagged a monster. So he took me into the same area that he shot his in. But as luck would have it, nothing. So we got the atv's back to the truck and started to drive to another location, we jumped a handful of does in the road. They all kept looking down the draw, but i couldn't see anything due to all the buck brush. We went a little farther and decided to turn around. as we came around the corner, the hillside came to life with movement. We think it was the same group of does from earlier. But with them was this pig of a buck. He is 23" wide. 28" tall. 5X4. He scores 189 7/8. He is truly a wall hanger for me!

I have always wanted one that has those double back forks. I know B&C treats them as a deduction but I think they are cooler than a droptine. Congrats.
