I know this deer is no monster but here's nothing better than tears of joy from a ten year old who just shot his first deer. If the video clip doesn't put a smile on your face than the true definition of hunting is lost. I'm posting this as a promise made to my ten year old cousin Carlton who made an amazing 200 yard shot on this buck on the run. Congrats Carlton!

Don't be ashamed of that buck, heck of a buck for a young man! Congrats on a great buck and shot!

Arizona allows kids to start hunting big game at age 10 as long as they have succesfully completed the AZ hunter safety class by opening day of hunt.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-27-12 AT 11:25AM (MST)[p]Congrats to the young man! Good Job!

Minnesota allows 10 year olds. Obviously that isn't MN though :)

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

It's an Arizona youth hunt. He hiked two miles in without a single complaint. After shooting the Muley he picked off a nice javelina!
