I ran across this well put together buck the other day. I know he is BIG but what do you guys think? My initial thoughts were main frame of 195 with 23 inches of extras but after looking through the pictures and video I have, I would think his frame is quite a bit bigger.....possibly 205??? Enjoy!

It takes a lot to get to a 200" frame. That being said, he might make that. Only shortcoming I can see is he doesn't have the longest beams, but he's pretty strong everywhere else. Sweet buck - a shooter in anyones book.

One helluva sweet buck! hard to score a buck like that on the hoof, for me at least, lots of different stuff going on with
that one..

LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-13 AT 09:36AM (MST)[p]That is an awesome buck! I think you are pretty close. I'm not sure his frame is quite that big. Low to mid 190's I'm thinking. I'd guess he's in the 215-220 range. I'd probably take him. ;-)
After looking at him again, especially that head on shot, I may agree with you that his frame is a little bigger! All I really know is you titled this post correctly.

I came up with a 197" frame with about 22" of extras. Like I'm always saying, in a picture, most bucks come across smaller than what they really are. It wouldn't surprise me if it did make 200".

There's always next year

Holy $#!t This might be the best live buck I've seen posted all year. Thank you. Don't very often see that much tine length plus good junk.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-13 AT 12:07PM (MST)[p]Here is a buck I watched all last winter. Its frame ended up at 202" with 11-12 inches of extras. Your bucks frame looks pretty dang close to me. Stud buck!

I'm with Shepherd. Main beams and mass will keep him from a 200 frame.
Helluva buck though!

WOW!!! Deep forks, tall and several extra cheaters. He has it all and he is really great looking. Some score well, but are on the ugly side. Not this one, he would look great on a wall for years to come. Hope he passes on his genes!!!

haha funny you say that, I've already been offered 20K....it actually turned my stomach a little.

I think his beams are better than you think. Minimum 25 inches, with at least a 22 inside spread. Right side frame is low 90's. I'd say 202-205 frame with 22 extras. mid 220's buck, and PERDY.

Is your stomach turned because you just made 20k just like that?

I think alot of you are way low. 208-210" main frame with 22" of extras.

That is a stud!!! Only drawback is the difference in G3's. the beams don't look short to me. They sweep out and turn up. I'm going with 25" a side.

It turned my stomach because I realized how non-sportsman like it seemed and no, I didn't take any bribes.

Yup, Smoker Buck is right!!! He's a beauty! I think he's in that 215-220 range no problem. IMO A no brainer on any hunt on any unit in an state or province on any day be if first or last.

i think his frame is over the 200" mark and he would score close to 230.
Awesome Buck for sure.

That's a stud buck for sure. That inline slowed the growth of his forks maybe. ?

On my. That is what dreams are made of. Absolutely incredible. I can't say anymore I'm speechless. Thx for the pics.

dead buck in my book , i dont mean to stir the pot , but if some one offered you $20k to show them where that buck is why not show them where he is , you must have more money than me, on the other hand if you think you could kill him the following year then maybe i wouldnt question your sanity , but if he is somewhere you couldnt possibly kill him , i think daddy would be getting a new rhino or razr for christmas!

Awesome Wyoming buck. Hope I can find him tomorrow for some video. I think he scores around 220

Im going to say 206 on the frame (91 per side with a 24" inside spread),24" of trash, 230ish deer. Those DEEP back forks will score well as will the long G4. His main beams may be short when compared to everything else but they are not that short.Glad you did not take the bribe.

I think his frame grosses 200" all day long. Perfect buck in my opinion...huge typical frame with just enough trash. Hope you can find his sheds!

LAST EDITED ON Jan-10-13 AT 09:56AM (MST)[p]That is my dream buck to a "T". He has it all - a GIANT typical frame, width, mass, height, and a few extras. Lieca, thanks for posting this up... one of the best bucks I've ever seen. I keep coming back to the post for a second look. Id love to see more pictures or videos if anyone has any.
