Looking for information about a fly in hunt in the FCW this fall. We are specifically looking for recommendations of pilots to get us in and out, costs, and what your experience was. We live in the Boise area, and could fly from here or out of Stanley it doesn't really matter. The plan is to fly into an area, and then pack from there. Any help is appreciated. If you want to personal message me, I completely understand.

Been in the Frank numerous times, always flew with Arnold Aviation out of Cascade. Good reliable pilots with reasonable rates... IMO...

I have flew in a few times. We used McCall air taxi. I have friends that habe flown out of cascade. What strip do you plan on flying into?

"Go hunt for meat at Walmart."

We are in the beginning phase of research right now. We both have gear to go solo in the high country, so I expect we will be 3-5 miles from any air strip. There are a lot more air strips than I thought there would be. So we have to decide the best area to get away from outfitters and other hunters. I like to hunt the "soft spots" between the horse guys, outfitters, and all the foot traffic. Once we determine the best area to hunt, then we can decide which air strip to use.
How have you done on your hunts? What were you hunting? Would you do it again?
