Muleys in Nebraska?

Hey everyone, I ideally would like to hit Montana next fall for some muleys with my dad but due to certain factors like classes and cost we might not be able to. After a fair bit of research we're thinking if Montana doesn't work out maybe we could try Nebraska in December. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the size of deer you can find in Nebraska and the quantity, especially with late season muzzleloader. Really any info would be helpful, thank you very much.

Comparing NE to MT, Montana is a better hunt. Been to NE some and its tougher than MT in my opinion. Not in terms of actually seeing deer or terrian, more in terms of fustration, access to where the bucks are. Alot of them will be on private that dont allow hunting, or pay to hunt. Public, seen alot of deer on but you'll be sorting through tons of does to see afew bucks. And if your going late Muzzleloader, those deer have been hunted hard during the rifle season just prior and will be educated if your planning on hunting the public. It could be localized to where Ive been, but thats been my observation. Weather, just like anywhere else in December. Can be 50 degrees one day then blizzard the next.
