2012 Archery Mule Deer Pedastal Mount

LAST EDITED ON Feb-26-13 AT 00:14AM (MST)[p]This is my buck from 2012. It was mounted by Kelly Memmott in P.G. I think it turned out very cool. He has mounted several deer for me and done great work. This is my first pedastal mount and I think it turned out Awesome.

Very nice buck and mount. Is that the original cape? I like that it is not your typical ratty looking summer cape.

Original cape. I just asked him to pull out the remaining scraggily red hair because I like the slick, short gray hair look right after they shed the red summer cape. His red hair had already started to shed and it was kind of patchy looking so I had him pull the rest of it out for that slick look. I personally love velvet mounts with the short new gray coat just coming in.

Must be a Vernon thing, my buck from there this year had abnormally long eyelashes as well.

That turned out fuckin AWESOME Jason! Beautiful!
