Great picture! Thanks for sharing. If I could get any mule deer tag I would definitely choose an Arizona strip tag. Is there anywhere else in the country that produces non-typical bucks like the strip? Not that I know of.

Great buck. However did you leave a bottle of whiskey out for him, looks like he was a little wobbily in that pic ;-)

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Thanks guys . This Buck was always acting skittish and elusive every time , creeping up to it's water hole . Very awesome buck and symetrical as it gets , w/ matching long G4's , split main beams Dagger 3's . Someone on this Thread ( don't recall who now as I'm typing this) asked where are NonTypical Bucks like AZ Strip . Seriously guys , In every general Unit in every State holds Giant Non Typical bucks . Idaho, Colorado whopped the AZ Strips butt this past year in producing Giant Bucks . Utah,Nevada all producing Giant Bucks as well . All it takes is time, patience, dedication, educating yourself of the area , lot's of Glassing and you'll find a Freak Giant buck . You guys that know what kind of Bucks the AZ Strip produces, yet have never been out there , you'd be ripping your hair out w/ all the initial discouragement that comes w/ getting to know an area , not finding anything, yet you know they are there . Same thing would apply to me, going to Idaho , not knowing the area but knowing there is a Freak Giant Buck lurking somewhere . Potential in Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Nevada is just as great if not better than AZ Strip . JMO . Again all, thank you

Nice.
That skittish should help get to a great old age.
