This here is Anden's first shed. It's pretty cool to see how excited a young kid can be to find antlers. He said it was one of his best days of his life. Funny stuff.

I can't imagine when the time comes that I won't be able to to hike the hills for sheds. Mule deer is my passion and shed hunting is abig part of my life. I don't post much and hardly ever post a picture of a shed.

This was my first antler of the year. Watched this antler fall off the buck's head, waited for the buck to move off to his bedding area and went and snagged it. A good way to start off a shed season.

A few days later I was driving my snowmobile along a road up higher on the mountain and couldn't believe my luck when I ran into these.

And finally a mid 180s buck I have been watching for 4 years. Found one side, but can't locate the other side. I think someone else may have it. The second pic is of his sheds two years ago that I attached to a skull. He didn't grow much more length this year but keeps adding mass as he gets older.

Matched my big 3 up

A 180 2x3 set that has six and a half inch bases and is 32 inches wide. the 3 point is 85 inches, the 2 point 71 inches, and an inside spread of 24 inches.

Good bird dog does not mean a good shed dog. She actually went around to the shady side of this tree laid down while I was on the other side glassing. I found her laying there withing feet of the sheds...

Here's a set on a mtn mikes skull that took me a little under a year to match up. I found his right side in april of '12 and then found his left side in march of this year. My friends uncle shot at him twice and missed during the '11 season. The way I have him mounted he grosses 197" and is just over 30" wide.
