My Nephew had a that type of tag last year and killed a great WT.

Actually, out here in western Kansas most landowners give permission. Especially in September as not many people hunt early.

No specific plans thus far. I have a July archery hunt I'm getting ready for. It will be after that before I start narrowing things down. Never been to KS, gonna be a learning experience. I really hope to use my tag on a muley.

Evil... I drew the same tag my first try as well! Although mine is area 2,1. I sure thought I would just be hunting whitetails this year. What a pleasant surprise huh.

Yeah, it really caught me off guard. Still hasnt sunk in yet. And I have another hunt I'm trying to get ready for in July.
Havent had much time to think about it. I got some prep work to do.

I've rifle and bow hunted Kansas a couple times and had a ball. I killed my best ever buck with a bow. The people are really good to hunters and it was quite a learning experience for this dumb western guy.
You'll have a great time for sure.
