I'm usually not one to come on here and ask for help....usually its just posting pictures of successful or unsuccessful trips and such. However, today I am having major withdrawals from not drawing what I thought was a guaranteed tag in Wyoming. I have been considering the purchase of a voucher this year and have a couple options.
These would all be 2nd season. 54, 55 or 62 are a couple units that I have been researching a little. I'm a go getter, can use horses and or will hike my azz of to get the job done. Have deer #'s increased enough to consider 54 or 55?

Any of your thoughts are welcome, even criticism :)

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

my experience is that 62 has some good bucks and plenty of places to get off the beaten path...

How to start an argument online:
1. Express an opinion
2. Wait

62 has some ok areas but you need some weather to make it good. Dry hot conditions with all that scrub oak is miserable and it's thick as sh%t in that country. Lots of private there too so don't trespass b/c everyone hunts their property there.

Private? like any unit in Colorado sure. plenty of PUBLIC land to glass up a GOOD buck. oak brush is common in western Colorado as is pines and quakes...and I am sure the temperature will be the same everywhere.
