Easier than what? If you say elk, no. If you say myself after 4 days in the high country, no.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

If the deer was upwind it would be easier to smell it. 1,000,000 coyotes, lions, bears and wolves feel the same way. If you always hunt into the wind you don't even need binoculars. Plus you can eliminate a lot of vacant ground.
