WOW, that is an awesome buck. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully he has been passing on his genes!!!

Well, considering its now posted on the internet and every neck in Tooele will find out as soon as the word spreads, I give him less than a month.

Might not score as high as some of the huge non-typicals been posted up but i like the looks of this buck.

I think he'll go 200" with just the one extra that i can see. WoW!!

I don't believe this buck is even close to public hunting lands.
I'm betting a ton of guys already know him, And he still roaming around.

From what I've heard this buck has been seen in town, on the edge of town and in the foothills but is pretty much living in the foothills and dropping down to feed. I think he is mainly living in an area that is open game for archery hunters. Although I'm sure some idiots will blow him to another zip code on the openers and then he will be hid up for a while. Either way I think he will probably be shot legal during the hunts. The canyon he will probably move into after he is blown out has a ton of pressure during the seasons.

Good luck, I hope somebody sticks him legal outside of town!

+1 BCB, yes indeed. That's my dream buck right there.

Yes. That is correct. A friend has the horns. Scored him right at 214 5/8 net, 226 1/8 gross

Yeah, that is a bigtime shame, survives all these years to get to where he is, just to get hit by a damn car, that's sad. The DWR will get the antlers and sell them at auction.

Well, poaching with a car, great idea. You can claim insurance on the car damage, and hunt at night with headlights... just got to do it in a state that lets you keep the head!

What a buck! Would be awesome to see him make it one more year because he doesn't look terribly old in the pics. The forks on that buck are what dreams are made of!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-08-13 AT 06:27PM (MST)[p]Nezzy, 226? I would have never guessed that high. I figured 210 or so. With how word travels here in the Tooele area, I'm surprised I haven't heard about him being hit before now. Not saying I hear about everything but its a small town when it comes to rumors, especially big buck rumors. If he really was hit it's too bad. Hopefully he was able to get some offspring roaming the hills the last few years. Just curious if your friend is a fish and game officer or how he has the horns?

Zombie deer.

Those does he breed last year and the years before will still carry his genetic. JFYI

I think the "DEAD" story was an attempt to keep people away from Tooele. Nice try, but from the post I read above it looks like it failed and the buck is still alive. :)

Buddy that pick him up is already planning on a nice mount being done.. Its a shame.People just need to let it go, and forget about this buck. Start the search somewhere else. Good luck everyone.
