What we are experiencing , specifically 13b , is something absolutely awesome !! 13a is lagging behind 13b this year as I had predicted , due to the fact 13b received more than half x's the precipitation from December to June 21st 2013 . I document every storm that goes through for the last 2 years . Last year , as we all know , the AZ Strip was under severe drought situations , which dwarfed the antler growth of many Bucks . A lot of Mature/Prime Bucks last year were also dwarfed by the drought conditions, which under average or better than average conditions , these Mature/prime Bucks would've turned into absolute monsters !! Very few Bucks were Harvested last year . Therefore we have a roll over situation , meaning , Mature Bucks from last year and Bucks that were approaching Maturity last year are Maturing this year , making this year an epic year into seeing more than average Mature Bucks !! We got 3 Giant Brute Bucks harvested already , look forward to what else is likely to come from the AZ Strip Units as Archery/Rifle season will soon commence !! Whats been harvested already is just the beginning , as I know of several other Bucks ranging 210 to 260" B&C !!!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-31-13 AT 10:29AM (MST)[p]Got to see this buck yesterday. Chis Krueger, the taxidermist who is doing my desert sheep, is mounting the buck. He just got done preserving the velvet so the hunter can show the antlers around until it's time to get the mount done.

It's a great looking buck but 242 is somewhat generous. It's more like 215-225.

I was wondering why nobody in the pic is actually touching the buck.
