Although 1 is nearly perfect symmetrically, 2 would score a little more with the deeper forks and looks to have longer beams.
#2.
With that said though, if I knew there was a buck like that one you posted earlier this month, I wouldn't even spend time looking at these two bucks... They'd live till the next hunter encountered them :)

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

I would take #2. He has a way better frame. They seem to both be mature deer so ill go by the looks of the rack.

Depends on when the pic of #2 was taken. You posted #1 on 7-27, so I assume you took the pic a few days before that. It's obvious he has more growing to do based on the balled look on the ends of his G2, G3, and G4's. He looks to have a rather large body as well. I'd like to see a more recent pic of him. He could be over 30" by the time his G3's are done flaring out.

#2 looks like a better scoring buck, especially on the bottom end, although his mains could be a little weak. No brow on the one side, either, plus a short G2. Looks like he still has some growing to do as well. Flip a coin if you ask me. I'd be happy with either of them. Whichever one offered the better shot is the one I would take. They would probably both disappear while I was trying to make up my mind!! That happened to me years ago, and of course I ended up with the smaller buck after reviewing the video. LOL.

That being said, I'd go after the first buck you posted in early July. You know...the one with the dropper!;)

These two shouldn't even be contenders if they are in the same unit and tag as the inline buck and the dropper buck. Of course, you could be scouting for more than one tag so if that is the case, #2 would be a good target buck.

#1 because #2 would already be dead, so that leaves the only one left standing.

Based on those pics, I like #2 better. I like the splayed out look of the overall frame, it makes the rack look bigger and wider.
#1 looks older in the face, I'm guessing he ended up being the bigger of the two?

The first. Because he doesn't start to fork until after the tips of his ears. I would hope that he would grow a little higher. The mass looks about the same to me. For some reason the words: "High, Wide, and Heavy" acts like a song that is stuck in my head and will not leave.

Bryan,
Door number two has my vote, but if I missed I would feel second best if I got nu8mber 1 either.
