Unfortunately in the bucks fall after the shot he slammed so hard it broke his entire right antler off, scraped his left side velvet really bad and as you see the broken cheater hanging off the velvet in the photos...

HUGE THANK YOU to my father, Ken Morgan for being there with me! Thanks to Gary Wilson for helping us with the pack out, knowledge, and additional help! And Thank You to Kip Fowler for your support and drive! I wouldn't have been able to do it without all you guys. I'm beyond humbled with taking this giant buck and the memories will last forever!

Sincerely,

You sir, are a badass!! You are always killin giants! Sure looks like ya work for them though in that steep country! Good for you man, incredible buck!

You are the best shed hunter I've ever shed hunted with. You can even find the sheds in velvet!

All kidding aside hell of a buck! Congrats man!

I think you dropped off your buck in good hands. It will be put back together in no time.

What an awesome buck - congrats!! It is obvious you put the work in.

If you need someone to shoot that nice typical buck in the middle of your 3rd picture, I would be happy to oblige. Just let me know :)

Great buck and an even better story. So glad your dad shared it with you. That's the best that hunting has to offer. Keep up the good work, and big time CONGRATS to you.

RULE # 1: Never shoot for the Base of the Antler!:D

Sweet Buck!

Nice Job!

I need coordinates Please!

You are always working your ass off, and your hard work pays off. What a Beast Buck Congrats. Very unique story, that is gonna be a cool story to always have and share.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-20-13 AT 05:57PM (MST)[p]SWEET!!! Now that gets the blood flowing. Gets me excited for the next couple of weeks to be over. That is a SMOKER buck! Congrats to ya for getting another Big 'Un on the ground. Crazy to see the antler broke off at the base. I can see that happening in Dec but figured they would be pretty solid right now.

Awesome man! Been watching you kill some monsters for a few years. Keep it up!

Like elkassassin said, coordinates please.

How does B&C handle broken antlers now? I had heard they had gotten rid of the rule about not allowing broken antlers or skull plates but it would only be allowed for some. Does anyone know if they would allow it in this case without the velvet? Just wondering.

Wow! Dandy! That just sucks about the broken antler. Way to get after it!

Dude, what a buck! You have this thing figured out for sure. Now what are you going to do with yourself :)

Awesome story and animal and shared with your Dad. Doesn't get any better than that!

That is my dream buck right there. Congrats on some beautiful bucks the past couple years. Any DIY hunter who can kill big bucks multiple years in a row is more than just plain lucky. You have some skills!

Well done Sean. It sure is fun to watch your drive. Your commitment and determination year round has definitely paid dividends. Taking 3 deer in three years and helping with two others is amazing.

Your drive is contagious. Keep pushing and chasing your passion. Soak it all in, those emotions of accomplishing your goal are amazing and very fulfilling.

Thanks for calling me to help pack out... Yes, I got some slack for ditching my family in the middle of church, but hey... "the Buck was in the myer!"

If I can't hunt them this year until September... I may as well enjoy your success. Thank for the invite on the pack out.

I keep looking at that buck and the photos you sent me before you went after it and I have come to the conclusion that that deer has one of the largest/heaviest bodies I've seen on an august buck. The head is as big as your chest in one of the photos you posted.

My brother had this buck at 25 yards Saturday morning at full draw, waiting for him to take one more step to have a clear shot at the vitals, the bucks sixth sense kicked in and he turned and bolted the other way, needless to say he was bummed. He had big hopes of getting back up there to chase him during the week this week until he seen this post.

Congratulations on taking a stud of a buck.

Awesome buck. I always look forward to seeing the bucks you kill. They are well earned.

Great Buck, a Good Taxi will take care of that side.

Outstanding. Seen a pic of your buck Monday and have been waiting unpatiently for you story. You definately have the skill to consistently find monster muleys.

Congratulations Sean!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-13 AT 10:40PM (MST)[p]Another congrats to you on a buck of a lifetime....
although I have a feeling there will be more from you.

I also love to see you hitting it hard out there with your Dad.
My love of bowhunting was given to me by my dad years ago in the mountains of southern Utah. I miss the days of long hikes and tired legs shared with my dad in God's country above timberline. Good for the two of you.

Keep hitting it hard Sean.
