KSL ran a story on a bridge over the freeway, they are building in NV. I took this pic in Canada last week. Thought they were cool..

Arizona has similar near the Hoover Dam for big horn sheep to cross. Each of the last two times I drove through I saw sheep crossing on it.

Hwy 191 between Pinedale and Jackson(Wy) also has an overpass the animals(especially pronghorn)use extensively. Kinda funny how the deer prefer the underpasses but the goats like the overpasses. The amount of wildlife saved by under/overpasses is staggering.

Idaho needs a TON of these!!!

I'm not one for telling my grandson how big of turd I had to pinch off from having to eat so much meat. I want to give him the antlers that hang from my wall and tell him the unforgettable experience that came with each and every one.

I wish they had one in the mouth of American Fork Canyon. I about ran over a bighorn lamb that blasted out of the herd and landed on the road right in front of me. I looked up and saw 4-5 others looking down at me.
Always fun to see them.
I wish the herd was doing better!

There are a bunch of these down the western side of the I-25 corridor through Colorado. They are cool for sure! I just hope they're used by the wildlife.

Looks like a good place to set a blind! They are proving to be pretty effective in many areas.

The ones here in NV are used quite extensively. I would like to see the numbers of accidents before and after the overpasses were installed.

Would like to see a few of those down around Monticello and Blanding, Then I could just wait on one side or the other LOL.

I was actually one of the engineers on that project. There are two over passes and 6 underpasses with 11 miles of high fence. Seems to work great. The game and fish estimated that 22000 goats used it this year.

I don't know any figures on the overpass and underpasses between Pinedale and Jackson. Deer mortality between Kemmerer and Cokeville went from several hundred per year down to less than 20 per year when the underpasses were installed! These things work to prevent accidents and save deer!
