Colorado unit 60 3rd season

Is it November yet? It seems like the last few weeks have been crawling by and I still have about 2 months till my hunt starts! Me and a few buddies drew unit 60 3rd season private land tags and will be hunting a ranch called the paradox valley ranch. Just wondering if anybody has any info on the deer around that area and maybe what kind of buck we should expect to get a chance to harvest. We are going to get bull tags as well and was also wondering if anybody could recommend an area that normally holds elk out that way. Thanks in advance guys.

Great unit, not sure what the Paradox Valley Ranch is. Redd's have the most land in the valley. Who runs the Paradox Valley Ranch? The only other major landowner of any size is Cooper.

I'm not sure who runs the ranch. My buddy has a friend that set it all up for us. They killed a couple smashers on it last year so hopefully we will have the same luck. Does there have to be snow in the high country for the deer to be down there at that time or they mostly resident deer that are in the valley?

Snow helps but has not happen very much over the years. There are resident deer, but Bucks will move in as the Rut picks up. If you had a name of landowner I could give you more information.

Cooper has some good property. If he still has Mrs. Hearts there are usually some big bucks on her property. I know he just bought some property that is also good. Good luck.
