The Bucks are turnin grey, and they're rubbin off the velvet. These cooler temps and bad weather is a good way to prep the hills for the muzzy hunt. only 12 days and counting.Hope the sun doesn't come back and get hot again. Good luck to those that are in the same mindset as me.

I'm getting pretty jacked myself. I hope to get my muzzy final-tuned this weekend. Only one problem...I haven't found anything but baby bucks. However, as much time as I've put in this year trying to find the right load, I'll be happy with just about anything. Good luck man!

Maybe next year I'll try the back-stuffing, front-stuffer. I've killed deer with everything from a rock to a rifle but never used a muzzleloader!
(in case a rock isn't a legal weapon, I was just kidding)

I like the Hatchet season the best.
I used to use a double blade but it was over kill, so now I use a single dull blade. My max distance is 30yds with the wind at my back. Sure hope my words came out alright for you school moms.LOL

You will have get some practice will throwing (little people) first to build up your arms so you can do LR hatcheting.
