Hunting with the kids

It has been a fun year with the kids. My daughter got most of the tags (4) this year so we have spent the most time together. It started off with Wyoming antelope, took her four years to draw and a half a day to get her goat.

Next was Wyoming deer, hunt took some time, and was a harder hunt then we expected. I enjoy the long days riding.

Son drew the Utah general deer. Utah general was warm and we didn't see too much, went higher and only saw moose, still fun, but not what we where looking for. They both ended up taking a couple of small bucks the last two days of the hunt. Made me walk off the mountain back to back days and I loved every moment.

Last week I made 10lb off Brawts. Today watching it snow, making jerky and watching football today. Looking forward to one more hunt next month, they both have late season cow tags.

That's what it's all about! Spending time with your kids now because someone has to take us when we are old. Looks like a great season, great pic's.

Very successful season so far! Can't wait to see the pics of the cows as well.

How does it get any better than that? Best quality time ever!

Congrats to you and yours
