LAST EDITED ON Nov-21-13 AT 11:57AM (MST)[p]first of all a word of thanks to all who replied to my post asking for info. for this hunt. we hunted the last two weeks of the season, saw a lot of deer and a few 160-170 inch deer. finally spotted this one but couldn't get to him before him and another nice buck bedded down in some really thick timber, decided to wait until later in the day, hoping he would come back out in the same area, he finally came back out with the other buck but was behind some brush that prevented a shot. he stood there for about 10 minutes just checking things out, the wind was perfect, we were sat up the ridge about 125 yards, he finally stepped into the clear, one shot and the work begun, again thanks for all the help. Sounds like you had a great hunt and capped it off with a great buck. I also have to agree, that is a fantastic picture. Congratulations!
