Yep I am sure they are second guessing them selfs on a few of the bucks they past up earlier in the year. But I know Will really wants a special buck. Ya I guess I would to for the kind of money he spent on the tag. That 239 buck that got poached really sting a bit I know.

Well, BESSY, theres only been 1 280+ buck killied in this state in the last 50 years, and none in the last 20. It ain't happening this year. He's passed some great bucks, but 240 probably won't happen.

There is/was another Buck even Bigger than the 260" Buck,but nobody could find/locate him this Fall/Winter,don't know what happened to Him?

It ends on Wednesday the 15th . I know a lot of us are cheering for him to take a nice buck. The kind a of buck most of us only dream about taking. Maybe this weekend ? But I dont think Will, will take a smaller buck just to fill his tag. By smaller we are talking a dinky 200 inch buck. lol

Ya remember back when everybody was giving the sportsman tag holder grief for shooting a dinky little 239 buck. The first hour and a half into the season. High top,Muley Crazy and Mossback all had pictures of that buck. Maybe a few others, who knows? Mossback was on the Henry's when it got shot. So we know Wil had knowledge of him. Just hoping for something bigger I guess.

On second look it's true, they're All doe. But I find it rather odd I've stumbled onto a few sheds from last year that are brown? Wtf? These bucks must use a good semi transparent stain to keep them preserved. Even watched a full velvet buck pop his horn off over a week ago. Don't make me prove it!!!

Since it's so easy to kill a 240 buck, maybe we should have the Obama administration help us change the GOV tag season to say Oct 31st. That way the bucks will not be vulnerable during the pre rut. A hunter with any skill should be able to whack a gorilla by the middle od Oct.
